Q: What fees will be incurred for abandoning a bid?
A:
The bidding account for Yahoo Japan Auctions is shared by all Sekaimen members; recently, it has been difficult to apply for an account. Please think carefully before bidding and be sure to follow the rules.
Members must pay the first phase of the fees within 48 hours after winning the bid to avoid affecting other members' rights to use the bidding feature.
Calculation of abandonment fees:
The minimum fee is (15% of the winning bid price + local bank transfer fee of 300 yen) x current exchange rate + Sekaimen handling fee.
There may also be Yahoo Japan Auction listing fees + other advertising costs + compensation required by the seller.
Important Notes
To prevent improper or malicious abandonment of bids, which leads to failed auctions and severely impacts other bidding members' rights, the system will automatically disable your bidding function. You can visit the auction section [Abandonment Details] for more information.
The bidding function will be reactivated only after the abandonment fees are paid. Members who abandon bids more than three times will be permanently banned.
Sekaimen reserves the right to directly deduct the compensation amount from the member's account. If the member's account balance is insufficient, Sekaimen reserves the right to seek compensation from the member.
